BREATHR CHOOSES THE LOOP AT 215 FOR NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS – AND A SHARED VISION

Friday, December 20, ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA Virtual reality wellness experience and Alexandria’s flexible workspace leader share the same mindset, as breathr and Braddock Commercial Real Estate announce a new joint venture at The Loop at 215.  Beginning January 2020, the wellness-focused coworking concept welcomes breathr headquarters to its property roster. What’s more, The Loop at 215 will host the breathr workplace wellness experience for all businesses and entrepreneurs who work on the property, the first-ever such offering in the metropolitan D.C. area.

breathr is a virtual reality-based digital workplace wellness solution designed to reduce stress, increase productivity, foster resilience, and promote happiness.  Escaping the stress of meetings and deadlines is pretty simple -- just grab a headset, find a seat, and then reboot, recharge, and refocus. breathr allows you to take a real, undistracted break, when you want, where you want.

The company’s “Take a breathr today” slogan gives a nod to years of scientific research demonstrating that using VR-based meditation at work helps employees not only feel relaxed but also more focused. A breathr subscription includes a convenient central storage and charging station with up to 12 pre-loaded headsets, supporting 350+ breathr sessions per day.

Founded and built in Alexandria, Virginia by Scott Troxell and John Harrington, Breathr targets coworking spaces as well as active duty and retired military personnel and college students.  “We found the perfect partner in The Loop,” says Sam Santarelli, breathr’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “The workplace is rapidly evolving and The Loop is way ahead of the game, focusing on the balance between body and soul.  With breathr, The Loop is adding a little soul into the mix.  We are proud to partner with fellow Alexandrians and to be a part of this amazing new work environment.”

“The Loop unlocks the potential of the individual, the business and the community, and breathr is the perfect complement,” remarks Christopher Campagna, principal of Braddock.  “Small and medium-sized businesses understand the efficiency and flexibility of coworking space. Here, they can offer high-end amenities and work/life balance to an untethered workforce, but affordably so.  This way, everyone works happily and productively.”

The Loop at 215, an innovative multi-use coworking space and wellness property, is disrupting the traditional workspace and workday, and is developed and managed by Braddock Commercial Real Estate at 215 North Payne Street in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia.

The 10,000-square-foot flexible workspace offers the modern light-filled esthetic of open work areas, dedicated offices, meeting rooms, podcasting studio, a lounge, kitchen and even outdoor work cabanas.  Members and guests of The Loop enjoy access to on-site indoor and outdoor functional fitness gyms with free weights and equipment, Fire & Ice sauna and cold-plunge bath, as well as fitness coaches.
